You know, very often I'm asked: 'Can you guarantee that our baby will be 100% healthy?' And I understand that all parents want their babies to be healthy. But the reality is that unfortunately, sometimes life gives us bad surprises and babies are born with some kind of disease (I'm not telling specifically about ART here) - scientists of all countries try hard to invent methods to avoid that, but still such things happen. How many babies are born sick res ulting from regular pregnancy - do their parents love them less? Or, another example - your baby is born healthy but at the age of 5 he gets into car crash - and than you have to take care about a disabled baby - will you love him less? How human is to speak about 'good quality' and 'bad quality' babies? When I hear such talks I have a desperate desire to remind that we are not manufacturing your kids, we are the clinic which helps this little miracle to happen.
Of course when having already put in years with no luck any couple doesn't want to spend some extra. I always loved Ukrainian legislation which allows to carry on a surrogacy program with no risks. Your names will be put on the Birth certificate from the very beginning. The child is considered to be legally yours from the very moment of conception. The surrogate can't keep the child after the birth. Surrogacy is absolutely legal in Ukraine. Usually they have no waiting list for the IP. Their data base is quite big and normally it takes us 2-3 days to make an adequate suggestion as for surrogates that might fit your requirements.
ReplyDeleteI agree surrogacy might be a complicated process. And the waiting times depend on the package chosen. We've recently undergone vip surrogacy program, so things went quite fast without any complications. They found the perfect surrogate for us who we liked from the ''first sight''. She was a nice sweet lady with a girl of her own kindly willing to help us. We'll be always thankful to her for this. Our program coordinator was very professional. We didn't have to worry if the things were fixed well, she knew and did her job just excellent. We always knew what to expect next, what to do, when to come etc. Also our special thanks to dr, nurses and the babysitter who've been with us all time long. We appreciate your help.
ReplyDeleteOn the whole, I'd say we could wait even longer when knew we'd get our baby at the end. Biotexcom guarantee on this matter is awesome though.
