PRI's The World (Public Radio International) about Surrogacy in Ukraine.

Recently, Anastasia, the Head of English department at BioTexCom fertility center, was interviewed by the PRI with a focus on surrogacy process in Ukraine. It's not a secret that Ukraine is now one of the most popular countries for surrogacy in the whole world. No wonder American radio is interested in what we do. Click the link below to read the article:

In Ukraine, surrogacy is legal, but some ask if it's exploitation

Comments

  1. I've happened to see the video on facebook. There some TV program presented percentage of votes for surrogacy in Ukraine. It's said sth like Would you like surrogacy banned in Ukraine? and Would you prefer surrogacy continues going its way? And guess what, Ukrainians voted more than two thirds they are for surrogacy as the legal process in the country. I actually cannot understand those comments on surrogacy on youtube, for example, where people are talking about ''modern slaves''. It's absolute b**t. What exploitation could this all be about?? Ladied get their sums of money for doing this favour to couples. Again, judging from the videos on youtube, where surrogates and egg donors are interviewed, ladies talk of 2 things mainly. 1. They have the strong desire to help infertile couples. 2. They count on money got to help their own families. For me it's quite a fair game. Noone is forced to take part in the process. Every part knows its responsibilities and process plan. And just follows it. Finally couples get their long awaited babies. Surrogates and egg donors get their compensation, that's easy. It's NOT altruistic though. So what for talking about any exploitation??! And the last word said, Ukraine does has a strong platform. It's surrogacy friendly law and affordable prices- this balance makes it the perfect destination for couples. Let infertile have their kids, guys. No good making this fuss. Good job, Biotexcom.

  2. One more thing. I always come across the posts like ''Adopt then!'' Here I immediately ask people, how many of you adopted yourself?? Or ''you must have adopted many kids yourself if you're so concerned?'' Guys are more likely to recommend things they don't have the smallest insight into. And this irritates, friendly speaking. Our surrogate at Biotexcom fell pregnant from the very first shot. I'll never forget the test day, surely. Aug 28, 2012- U/S- 1 single embryo in uterus measuring 6.6 weeks- Heartbeat!!! What happiness it is to watch your kid growing!! Adoption is a thing completely different, needless to say.

    1. Though I'm not in the case of surrogacy myself, I'm with you, Melanie Kim. No doubt, surrogacy is so much helpful nowadays. Lots of couples come to Ukraine tired, discouraged, looking for miracle..And they get it!! I cardially congatulate you with your surrogacy kid! May you and all your family be happy and healthy. Enjoy every day spent together!

    2. Congrats to you! Ukraine is a country with optimally balanced legislation. Relationship to the child is determined by the father of the child. According to the same principle executed documents to the baby. The cost of surrogate motherhood EUR 30 000, the price unlike in the US include the risks!! (including cesarean), food, accommodation, transportation, translator, and so on. The procedure for registration of a child is very simple: for most of the cases, passport for the child is given in Ukraine. In some cases it is necessary to draw up documents in their own country. The queue moves quickly due to a good mix of "supply and demand". The average wait time varies from 1 month to six months. For those seeking luck in this very direction, Ukraine may be the best choice.

    3. We didn't switch from oe to de. Furthermore, we couldn't because of the quality of my own eggs. So the route got settled naturally. Another thing was the choice among the database of 300 donors of the clinic. All the ladies are young , healthy, attractive with proven fertility. And make our choice to coincide somehow with the doc's. Thanks to God all our efforts weren't in vain. one of life's best stages you are in
      Congratulations to you!!!

    4. Cardially congratulate you with your little bean! The first time of my life I fell prego with my son 2 yrs ago. He is a naturally conceived kid though things changed dramatically to my health within this time period making us to undergo oe surrogacy now. Ladies here and there offered looking onto Ukraine as surrogacy destination. I'm from the UK. Firstly, concerning the UK surrogacy options, the woman who gives birth is always treated as the mother in UK law. She also has the right to keep the child if she changes her mind to pass the kid to you. Even if a SM and a baby aren't genetically related (Meaning the baby has both of your DNA.) Parenthood can only be transferred by parental order or adoption.
The total cost of surrogacy in the UK can surpass £50k - about $65k depending on the clinic and your surrogate. Total UK surrogacy costs will include not just the compensation to the surrogate - around £10k to £15k, but also the clinical payments of IVF and embryo transfers, consulting fees, and legal fees. Besides legal fees vary greatly from lawyer to lawyer. Some lawyers charge as much as £50k - $64 k, although most reasonable legal fees would total below £10k - £13k. Surrogacy is more affordable in overseas countries, where local governments have invested heavily in medical facilities to attract tourism. Surrogacy in Ukraine can be completed for about £45k – including all the clinical procedures, surrogate care and compensation, and legal fees. That is why it's Ukraine for us. We're just at initial stages, but things seem to be going right. Looking forward for the ER.

  3. Great job, firstly! Biotexcom is popular within IP throughout the world. I guess no discussions can influence it. Some think surrogacy is a blessing. Others- it must be prohibited. But let me ask then, what if personally those who votes NO, cannot conceive themselves?? What will you do?? Say NO, or go straight for this option?? The answer seems obvious...

    1. Totally agree with you. People usually don't understand the core unless are in the same boat themselves. I do feel ashamed now when recollect some memories from the past. Once I used to work in the salon (so you guess, ladies mainly and ladies' chats). A young girl seemed to come several times. Each time complaining about her mother in law who was not compassionate and did not love her 'cause she couldn't conceive for half a year. And that she thought she'd never do and wanted her son to leave her and other sort of dreadful things I wasn't really aware of..I thought than- what a f** is all this about. I did feel sorrow about her and her witch in law, but I really couldn't imagine how dramatic the situation with that girl was unless found out I couldn't conceive naturally myself..
So those who conceive with a cough or conceive and make abortions 'cause the baby was not ''planned'' will NEVER understand us!! For us surrogacy turned out to be the only way possible to have our small princess. And I could hardly imagine what would I do if there weren't this option at all.. I'm thankful to biotexcom, its kind staff, Ukraine for our sense of life.

  4. What sort of exploitation is meant here?
Usually everyone knows his role in the process. In any process, not necessarily surrogacy. There's the need. Then there's someone who can help with this need. And this one takes money for this. Finally you get your problem solved - all sides fulfill their reponsibilities. Let's take surrogacy. There are very few countries legally permitting it, firstly. The majority banned surrogacy years ago. Yet other ones allow it on different requirements. Married couples only, or heterosexual ones only, or with baby's genetic link only and others.. Ukraine seems perfect for those seeking help through surrogacy. We live in the UK, but decided we'd undergo treatments in Ukraine. To take the UK, the surrogate there is considered to be the legal mother of the baby. Then you have to deal with Parental Order to have your baby YOURS. Furthermore surrogacy is altruistic there. This means you cannot pay the surrogate. Then imagine how long it would take us to find a person willing to carry the baby for us!!!
On the contrary, Ukrainian law favors IP more than the surrogate. From the moment of conception the baby is considered to be yours. The birth certificate is issued with the IP' names. The surrogate has no right to keep the baby after delivery. Then surrogacy is much cheaper in Ukraine. And there are lots of women participating in the programs - both surrogacy and egg donation, so you don't have to wait for long. This is a huge factor for many couples. 'Cause you know couples usually turn to surrogacy after the history of long failed infertility treatments. Not many of them want to wait for the unstated time to finally get their baby. So this is another huge pro of undergoing surrogacy in Ukraine. And finally- exploitation people often think about. To my mind this is just silly way to think as again ladies carrying babies get money for this. Wose sums are huge enough to buy appartments or some other sort of expensive things. This is the reward for their kind help and there is nothing bad about it. This is my personal point of view.

    1. ''...Ukrainian law favors IP more than the surrogate.'' Definitely! In the UK for example, a woman who gives birth to the baby is considered to be his mother. Then you go to the court to gain your parental rights. furthermore it happens the surrogate may back out or change her mind so that you'll never get your long expected child! This is too frustrating! You invest time and money and get nothing at the end..In Ukraine those episodes are impossible. Surrogacy is best regulated there. every part of the process knows his role. i truly cannot understand those phrases like ''modern slaves'' or ''exploitation'' or sth. Those are the rules of the game. It is important that you and the carrier speak to a mental health professional specializing in infertility about these and other concerns. A mental health screening can help ensure that all parties have considered all matters. It will also help to determine if you and your carrier are compatible. On the whole each part must feel protected, this is what i think. Ladies here are giving very reasonable comments.

  5. I'd really love to have some links on this interview.
The topic is very sensitive throughout the world. as there are thousands different opnions, some support this treatment plan, others not. But surrogacy is seldom the first choice on the journey to build a family. Often people come to surrogacy after trying and exhausting other options. such as intrauterine insemination or in vitro fertilization or gamete intrafallopian transfer. In some cases medical issues, (Such as absence of a uterus, impaired uterus, or a chronic health problem) make it impossible or unsafe for the intended mother to carry a child. Sharing a pregnancy with a carrier may be the right option (If involvement with the pregnancy and prenatal care, genetics and being present for the birth of your child are important.) Actually we aren't discussing here traditional surrogacy. (Where the surrogate is the genetic mother of the child). We're mostly talking about preserving our own genes (or genes of one side only) in the future baby. as genetic relationship plays an important role for the majority. people often say ''why surrogacy? Adopt! There are many lovely kids wanting their new families.'' Actually it's no the same. And it wasn't the same for us, 'cause we wanted the baby to be ours!! I'm sure today, most couples who build their families through surrogacy choose gestational surrogacy. After years of failed infertility treatment, my husband and I had almost given up. We didn’t have the energy or emotional stamina to keep trying. I thought adoption was my only alternative until our doctor suggested that we consider gestational care. As hard as that was to hear, I realized I could have a genetic child and be very close to the pregnancy even if I wasn’t carrying the child myself. It was so exciting to be at that first ultrasound and see my child’s heartbeat! It has turned a very painful beginning into a very hopeful future!!
Before deciding on surrogacy I'd offer couples could answer: Are you ready to move on from current infertility treatments? How do you feel about someone else carrying your child?
Are both partners ready to do this? How will you explain the pregnancy and birth to others and eventually to your child? If you feel well about those, then the path is yours.

  6. Time ago, just at the start of this journey, I read sth like IVF treatment is like a gamble. So I thought if it was so, were there ways to reap the best out of what we pay? And we began searching for the actual options. It was quite a fresh breath to get to know there were clinics, which want to make the IVF treatment a win-win situation. Biotex was one of those from our list. They offer money back guarantee programme. You pay for a certain number of cycles (for example 5 IVF cycles). and if you do not get pregnant within those 5 cycles, they give you back your money. This is a wonderful option, which could help you preserve your peace of mind, at least as regards the financial aspect. So before starting an IVF cycle we made sure the clinic has such an option and asked them whether we qualified for such a programme.
We all know that the field of IVF is highly commercial. Everyone has to protect himself from being exploited by money-minded and irrational docs/clinics/agencies..whatever. We know it from our own experience that dr is not always correct and unbiased. I truly regret we didn't get well informed about the process before starting it at our previous clinic (not mentioning its name- think it's ethical). All you guys seeking prefessional help, do your best to find a good dr/clinic who will have your best interests at heart! If you are constantly diverted from your aim of having a baby by having to do unnecessary tests and treatments, you will get exhausted very soon. It makes going through subsequent IVFs impossible. Being knowledgeable and having realistic expectations about IVF will help you to remain strong. It will keep you going!

  7. Surrogate programs in every country are affected by the local law and different factors. We can see different cost conditions and waiting time. Countries where surrogate motherhood is fully legal: USA, Ukraine, India, Mexico. One of common reasons why people don’t choose the USA for surrogate program is that the cost is the highest in the world. Around $150k! All costs have to be paid by parents! Like cesarean section, the cost of treatment rehabilitation, accommodation and food for surrogate mother. Because of all these reasons only people with high income can use surrogate program in USA. Also the fact that the surro has all the rights on the baby born in some states. Then IP have to go to the court to take their baby home. Needless to say some surros might even blackmail wanting more money from the IP. This happens sadly enough. So surrogacy law must be carefully studied before moving forward with the country/clinic/agency. 'win-win' plans are also wonderful. they are aimed at keeping you safe from the money loss. Success coverage - sounds good, right?

    1. We were doing VIP plan with BioTexCom. Have no regrets. I agree to every single fact mentioned about surrogacy in the USA. Waiting time for the first try there is about 9 months. American law is very strict, but too loyal to the surrogate mothers. For example, surrogate mother during pregnancy has the right to demand anything from the future parents, and often it can grow into blackmail. It doesn’t stop even after a child birth, because under American law surrogate mother is allowed to keep in contact with the child. Could you believe this?!! Ukraine, on the contrary, is a country with optimally balanced legislation. Relationship to the child is determined by the father of the child. The cost of surrogate motherhood is EUR 30k on average, the price unlike in the US include the risks (including cesarean), food, accommodation, transportation, translator, and so on. The procedure for registration of a child is very simple: for most of the cases, passport for the child is given in Ukraine, in some cases it is necessary to draw up documents in their own country. The queue moves quickly due to a good mix of supply and demand. That's why we did this choice.

  8. Glad to hear. This is awesome Biotexcom became this very popular throughout the world. But we all need to have just adequate expectations from treatments. For how much you’re paying, it feels like IVF should result in a guaranteed pregnancy! But that’s definitely not the case! Even under the best circumstances, IVF pregnancy rates hover around 50 to 60 percent per embryo transfer. It’s difficult to understand why, if the egg and sperm are being put together, a pregnancy won’t take though. While that’s fascinating, it also makes it difficult to fully understand what’s happening and being done to your body. The dance that doctors do to time the egg retrieval and embryo transfer. and the fine line they walk with the doses of drugs they prescribe is truly mind-boggling. We all try to comprehend all of the nuances and facets of the treatment. But usually find ourselves getting lost in the weeds of information (Instead of trusting clinical team and focusing on our own health!) Once I let go and became more comfortable with trusting the experts, the more relaxed about the procedure I became. Feels like you've been surrounded with people who take all your needs at heart. They know what to say and how to support whilst this emotional roller coaster. Everyone seeks the place which meets his requirements. We were also lucky enough to find ours. Good luck to all!

  9. Woow, too many of us are so glad you let more people know about you! Good job!
I cannot speak positively enough about our experience at BioTexCom. We underwent surrogacy VIP program there and were very lucky to have our little boy after the very first shot. We found every single staff member, that we dealt with, to be professional, friendly and respectful.Having just completed 1 round at the clinic, we can not hesitate in recommending this repro centre enough. The care, empathy and genuine compassion we were shown made our journey much easier.
The professionalism by all staff was always consistent. (I'm sure always is!!) We always felt well informed and we were consistently made aware and informed of each process to be undertaken. Here I would like to say our great thanks to the med staff, our beautiful dr and nurses. We were treated with the utmost respect, kindness and understanding during this delicate and emotional journey. So I'm personally glad you are achieveing this success day by day. And that more and more people trust you for all your efforts and high working results.

  10. Good job, biotex! After having had hysterectomy I've become the true candidate for surrogacy. Ukraine was among the top surrogacy countries. The process is well regulated there on the Federal level. And it’s very surrogacy friendly. I mean the baby is considered to be yours from the moment of conception. The birth certificate is issued with your names. You’re the legal parents of the baby born. The surrogate has no right to keep the baby after delivery. She cannot claim any rights in Ukraine. Besides their treatment plans are quite affordable. Meaning the surrogacy costs vary from 30k to 50k euros for diffrent number of attempts and services offered. Surrogacy has always been the last option to count on for us. Hope this message finds everyone well. Wishing the best with your treatments ahead. May Lord bless you for the happiness you bring into people's lives!

  11. Good news. It's perfect you've achieved such huge success. People get more and more interested in cooperation with Biotex. As soon as intended parents are successful with treatments, they want to share their experiences with others in the similar need. We've come across so many posts on different boards where ladies were talking about their experience with the clinic. Most of them were positive reviews. Others found their stay somewhat longer than expected. Yet others complained of slow communication. But personally for me, I didn't mind some extra waiting for the response or sth if I knew they're were doing their best to achieve success in our individual case. We're all different. And what's good for one is not the same for another one. It's a pure psychology. A huge resource of useful information for us was www.asiu.us. where American couple writes about their fertility strugglings. Finally they get success in Ukraine, Biotexcom clinic. If i'm not mistaken one can also contact them. Another helpful link is www.oursurrogacyblog.wordpress.com. The UK couple shares their experience with the clinic, all their ups and downs - very emotional really. Would also recommend looking at.

  12. Here's the extract from the post on asiu.us: ~
''Discouraged, we started to look into surrogacy overseas. There were so many options, but some were very sketchy, and we definitely read our share of horror stories about Thailand and India, both of which, as a result, have shut down their surrogacy practices not too long ago. After much gleaning in forums, it became clear that Ukraine was our best choice. First, it is relatively affordable, with all-inclusive plans starting at 32k up to 50k, which covers absolutely everything outside of your plane tickets, such as transportation, food, accommodations, all things that involve IVF for you if you are using your own eggs, surrogate screening and medical costs, and birth at the hospital. It is also the same price if you choose to use donor eggs instead, which is a nice back-up plan to have if things don’t work out with your own, at no additional cost. This blew us away, because we hadn’t seen this kind of all-inclusive plan anywhere else, and the best part about it is that they guarantee you a baby, because if the first surrogate doesn’t work out, they will try again with another using your frozen embryos until they are successful. We have encountered other couples who chose Ukraine purely for the guarantee factor of a baby, which can sound strange to some, but for us, it was like music to our ears! Also, it seems like Ukraine is one of the few places where the laws favor the intended parents rather than the surrogate. Under Ukrainian law, the baby is ours from the moment of conception. Once the baby is born, the birth certificate is issued with our names, and the surrogate cannot claim any rights. Lastly, we could rest with the thought that time-wise, pregnancy could start right after embryos are created, as many women participate in surrogacy in Ukraine. Everyone that we had spoken to had been successful with the first try, if not the second, so that was very appealing to us, as we had also considered adoption at one point, but knew from family members that it could take quite some time for that to happen as well.
One additional fact that we also liked is that we can pay the surrogate directly, which assures us that they are being paid well for their efforts, and aren’t abused by the agency. The average monthly income for Ukraine is around $200, so the compensation can change the lives of their family for the better''...

    1. In Ukraine they have specific set of laws to protect IPs’ rights and the rights of SM. Intended mother must provide medical certificate proving her disability to carry pregnancy on her own. Restrictions for SMs are also set by law: Age 18-39. Being absolutely healthy and having at least one healthy child. What I like the most is that SM has no right to change her mind and keep the baby after delivery. IPs are considered to be biological parents of the child. Birth certificate is issued with the names of IPs as parents, no name of SM mentioned.

  13. Time ago I just wanted to be on the road to motherhood. Just not stuck in that limbo. I hated the waiting!! I just felt like those weeks drag on and on and on. I was losing trust in my body as each wait period got even worse. It was like my body wanted to torment me with ''prego" symptoms when I was not. My boobs aching, constipation, headaches, exhaustion.. I've had these every month but then just got my period anyway. I wanted to tell my mind to just turn off the detective mode but I couldn't. It became like an obsession. It was so horrible to see people around me with their kids, or pregos.. I even found myself several times out at the store and looking at other people with their kids and wondering "why can you have a kid, not me? What makes you so special?!!" I felt horrible thinking that. My sister already had a whole slew of kids. She's much younger than me. At the same time she was the one to help me through. She did a huge research work for me when I actually was crying and cursing faith, she was the one to have her hands full with talking to people. She found some really useful information for me, including that on Biotexcom repro center. My small angel, my sister...

  14. Instruction on Procedures for ART sets forth the following medical indications to confirm qualification of the intended parents for Ukraine surrogacy program.
Absence of a womb (inborn or acquired)
Deformation of the cavity or cervix uteri, making pregnancy and delivery impossible
    Synechi of womb cavity
Severe somatic diseases, making duration of pregnancy impossible
Multiple (more than 4) implantation failures associated with the transfer of high quality embryos.
All these indications should be confirmed by relevant medical reports that need to be laid out on official letterhead of issuing medical institutions and contain signatures of the doctors (specifying full names and positions).
Only legally married heterosexual couples can apply for surrogacy in Ukraine.

  15. My journey is a long one. We had 3 stim cycles. The second was canceled days before retrieval (as it looked like we’d only be getting 1 or 2 follicles) due to poor response. We were cash pay (you could buy 3 small cars for the amount we spent), so having that cycle canceled hurt as it was about $5k down the drain. My first cycle we got 3 PGS normal embies. The first one took!! But I miscarried. The next 2 were BFNs. The third stim cycle gave us 1 100% PGS normal embies and 2 low level mosaics. Before my 4th FET, we did an ERA cycle to make sure we were transferring at the right time, which we were not. All of this took 2 years...So now we are looking for help from your clinic. Putting in all our hopes and expectations. We're about to start surrogacy plan. And it's great for us to get to know about your mitochondrial donation method. This gives me hope, we can do it with own eggs..or not..This journey might be so draining!

  16. I believe we are not the only ones. But the beginning of the process was rather stressing for us both I should admit. as it all was completely new to us! We had our 1st app in March in Biotexcom clinic, Kiev. (Dealing with mitochondria donation OR donor eggs along with IVF this time if the former doesn't work). Unfortunately, time is sth which is not under control when it comes to fertilty. It was an unpleasant piece of news for me, for all the family, when our first fertility doc told us I was not going to have a genetically related to me kid. So devastating!!- Seems I'd never felt so broken and miserable before..We've got into all this by no choice. This is naturally we have a lot of worries, frustration and questions. So I truly believe we need to have someone close by that can help us through every step of this intense journey. Also people on here and on other boards are extremelly helpful. Yet another thing is accupuncture. I used it mainly to calm mind - it might be something to look into too, surely. Be as much involved into the process as possible. Get notes not to abandon some crusial points of treatments. GL to all and please talk to a professional any time you need to have your mind at ease. You will feel so much better and confident when starting. Good luck to all.

    1. Thank you for your nice post. You know what, when starting ivf I didn't plan to tell anyone (aside from very close friends). I thought about saying that I was going to have dental work. So I would need to miss a couple of days and need various time off. But then I became curious to know how others are handling this? So the advice I was given and what I did was say I was having a medical procedure. And it was related to my cycle so it wasn't clear until the day before I would need to have it. It's truthful, it indicates one's private nature that's why it doesn't invite questions beyond everything ok. Furthermore it didn't make me sound awkward for not commuting to a date upfront when there is need to be off. I understand your being nervous..., felt the same once. We were moving abroad for the treatment. Quite far away from family and friends who could support day and night. This is how it passed for us I brief. When we arrived at the clinic we met with a GP. He started taking a complete medical history and arranging the necessary tests to determine the cause of infertility. Then we received all of our referrals for tests and scans. They included blood and semen samples and an ultrasound. At the 2nd visit our GP discussed the diagnosis and referred us to ivf specialist. She outlined a further treatment plan based on our medical history and test results. She had been professional.

  17. Infertility is a huge grief for people. I read some stories here and there on how surrogacy turns out to be their only chance for success. One from the last read is the story about Lynsey Morgan and her husband Dan.
After meeting they had always imagined that they would have a family one day. But then Lynsey was diagnosed with acute lymphatic leukaemia, after just a few weeks of feeling unwell!! This meant sessions of chemotherapy and ultimately a life-saving bone marrow transplant. Those treatments meant she was unlikely ever to have her own children. But she and Dan have become one of the first families to be helped by the new surrogacy service. And the generosity of a Wirral mother who was carrying their child..This story is so much incredible!
In the situation mom did super well for her offspring. She's a strong, courageous woman willing to do her best for her child. Though in a way strange for people's ears. How is it to become a surrogate to a grandson, for example??! I can't really imagine myself! But things happen. Thanks to God there're so many ways nowadays to beat infertility!
Dh and me had been struggling infertility for 7 years. We'd been through 6 failed IUI cycles when one day found ourselves starting ivf cycle. Unfortunately/fortunately it was called off because of 1 additional test to be done. So this 1 single additional test done could have told us 7 years ago that it was not going to happen!!! I couldn't carry pregnancies!! We went for surrogacy at Biotexcom a year ago. Now I'm a 42 yo mom of beautiful twins)) Wishing all the best of luck to those struggling the issues to become happy with their kids one day. Be blessed!

  18. My husband and I have been struggling to have our baby#1 for years. After a year of unsuccessful trying we finished the work up at the RE and discovered that my AMH was really low - 0.06. I did end up pregnant once. but it was a chemical that ended just shy of 4 weeks. The RE basically said that I had a 2% chance of getting pregnant naturally. Moreover, if I do there is a 50/50 chance of miscarriage due to DOR and poor egg quality. I am currently almost 41. I've never had children on my own before. But due to circumstances adopted my niece time ago.. So during our further investigations our RE said that our best chance was to do IVF with pregenetic screening. He said that bumps are chances up to 60%. This seemed too little..But we made the go. I think I've got the best prepared for IVF cycles – used all the possible tips to make my eggs better and the overall health state just excellent..We got bfp twice, and twice miscarried..Such a heartbreaking experience!! Finally, after more investigations done, were said it was not going to happen to us..So that we should apply for surrogacy. Chose Ukraine, BioTexCom, are passing VIP package with them.

  19. Other European countries either prohibit surrogacy or allow surrogacy agreements only the surrogate is unpaid. For those countries that allow surrogacy the laws typically give all parental rights to the surrogate. This is so until a court process can transfer the rights from her to the IP. In these countries the surrogate has the right to keep the baby if she chooses. But this will never happen in Ukraine. Surrogacy there is well regulated. Surrogacy contracts are considered enforceable under legislation. Under Ukrainian law, the child belongs to IP from the moment of conception. Once the baby is born, the birth certificate is issued with the names of the IP. SM is not awarded any parental rights. She has no standing to keep the baby or claim any rights. This is true even if there were no biological relation between the child and IP. In this and other cases their names remain on the birth certificate.
Ukainian surrogates are between 25-35 years old. A SM is a natural mother of at least one child. She's mentally and physically capable of becoming a SM. The marital status of the surrogate is irrelevant. All you need to do is to chose the best SM for you and sign a legal agreement with your SM.

  20. Nowadays a lot of couples move to Ukraine for surrogacy. And there are lots of reasons for this. Firstly, 'cause of its surrogacy friendly law. It favours the IP more than the surrogate. Secondly, 'cause of more affordable prices. BUT IP parents must provide a doctor’s statement that surrogacy is a necessary option for one of the following medical reasons:
Absence of uterus. Deformation of cavity of uterus or cervix of the uterus. Structural-morphological or anatomical changes of endometrium. Grave somatic diseases that do not have influence on health of a future child but make pregnancy jeopardize health or life of a patient. At least 4 or more failed IVF attempts that involved good quality embryos that have been conceived as result of multiple IVF attempts.
In addition to these medical requirements, IPs must be legally married and have a notarized copies of their passports and a marriage certificate with an apostille stamp.
