Accused of Exploitation

Recently, BioTexCom have been attacked by numerous journalists accusing us of exploiting women who decided to take part in our surrogacy programs. I’m tired of answering the same questions all the time. That’s why this video aims to be the answer for the question regarding exploitation.

Comments

  1. Well the point is that to my personal view only illiterate and poor minded people can react of those facts as exploitation! Those are just obvious things, meaning a pregnant woman must avoid all that stuff like drugs, alcohol, cigarettes..etc - and this is GENERAL TRUTH, not Biotex' exploitation!! Dear lovelies, kind surrogates - all know this before they sign the contract with IP. They know there are some restrictions they'll have to live with during the term. What for is all this fuss then on the point?!! Moreover, every woman who respects herself and favor she's doing to others, will never do harm to IP, their little one! I'm sure of this fact, like many others saying the surrogates are in programs mainly 'cause they want to help. The thing with evening walks also.. I absolutely agree it's no harm for the surrogates to in comfortable rooms or in the area instead of walking in the streets late..Again this all must be thought out for better and final success of all parts of the process. Controlling those things is a MUST DO, not just sb's wish. So I totally support you on this point.

  2. I don't want to even think our surro could do sth like this! am I exploiting this lovely woman then?? i just want my kid inside her to grow well, strong and healthy. Nothing which could make him uncomfortable (though our baby didn't show its gender at scan, i do believe this is boy) you keep things under control and we appreciate this. don't listen to those silly accusations. they don't worth your time guys

    1. Exactly! I believe this is some sort of competitors' tricks. All these accusations I mean. What should they else invent if not silly blaming! For me this is shameless. They explained the things how they are. And that they are doing all this to make the process safe and sound. With such an approach my mind is at peace they take the best care of the surrogates with our babies.

  3. This is quite a news. I'm sorry you have to listen to sth like that, guys. You know the field. And you're doing your best to achieve your aims - more kids to the infertile families. This is the only thing which matters! Healthy kids placed in the arms of those who've been waiting for them for so long. I wouldn't take all those accuses at heart. We all know how important it is to take good care of the surrogate and every mom with her baby inside. Depending on how healthy her lifestyle is, the outcomes might be different. So the thing you don't allow the surros in the programs go somewhere late at night, or that you make sure they're taking meds/supplements right or some other thing only shows YOU CARE! Thank you all for this.

    1. We're just through the initial consultation with them. The first thing I wanna say is that I haven't seen such cleanliness and tidiness at fertility centers before. With the first steps done inside the building the clinic firsts then the lab had us wearing special shoe covers. We were amazed at how lively the place was. There were lots of people everywhere waiting, talking, discussing things with staff. Everyone constantly interrupted with phone calls, receptionists kindly unswering them. Despite this extremelly busy atmosphere the clinic's staff seemed to be absolutely discreet and calm. I know it's their job and nothing could be praised about staff being kind and empathic to their patients, but still there's always a human factor. For me personally it would be hard not to go nuts with all that.. Still guys were awesome. We had to wait for 15 mins before consultation but this was fine as we could make us comfortable on cosy sofas in the hall browsing the internet. Soon we were told we could see our dr. She made the impression of a highly qualified professional along with being understanding, kind and supportive. The dr then studied our medical records. We underwent the required tests. They also provided us with all medications needed for my protocol. Meds cost was included into the package price so we didn't have to bother about where to get them fast and cheaper. Dr told us they will transfer our sweet embies the next time we visit the clinic. She asked us to be ready to spend there up to 7-10 days! Am so excited about this!

  4. You're doing a right thing, nothing of what can make any harm. You're making sure the surrogates lead the healthy life. For example, they are eating healthy foods. Because right amount of calories helps the surrogate and the baby gain the proper amount of weight. How many calories they need depends on things like their weight before pregnancy, age, and how fast they gain weight. In the first 3 months of pregnancy, most women do not need extra calories. They also may not need extra calories during the final weeks of pregnancy. All this is up to a health care provider/ docs and nurses to be accurately explained to the surrogates. Then youmake sure they take needed supplements daily, nothing of selftreatment. Getting the right amount of folate is very important. It may help prevent birth defects. Before pregnancy, women need 400 mcg per day. During pregnancy and when breastfeeding, they need 600 mcg per day from foods or vitamins. Foods high in folate include orange juice, strawberries, spinach, broccoli, beans, and fortified breads and breakfast cereals.
Most health care providers tell women who are pregnant to take a prenatal vitamin every day and eat a healthy diet. So again, dr recommends the best here. Most women need the same amount of physical activity as before they became pregnant. Aim for at least 30 minutes of aerobic activity per day on most days of the week. Aerobic activities use large muscle groups (back, chest, and legs) to increase heart rate and breathing. The aerobic activity should last at least 10 minutes at a time and should be of moderate intensity. This means it makes the pregos breathe harder but does not overwork or overheat you.
All those things demand a huge attention from the staff's side. But this is nothing of which could be called exploitation or sth! Silly people those are to think so..

  5. This is my personal opinion. Being mobile improves blood flow to the reproductive organs. So you encourage patients to get up and move after the procedures. Exercise also helps keep energy levels. and feel good (endorphins high!) Going for walks and going about the usual activities just helps to keep spirits up during this stressful time. Noone is encouraging surrogates to go out and try a new intense workout. 'Cause that can actually put stress on their system. But when it comes to activities that they regularly do, such as running and spinning, they should definitely go for it! Or having some rest by the pool. (I watched a nice video on youtube on this point) I'm trying to tell your clinic cares about their donors and surrogates through all the stages of the fertility treatments. I cannot see a thing wrong with that. So probably someone is just making some profit of accusing you of exploitation or sthy of this kind. That's unfair but that is what actually really good places always face. Stay well, guys.

  6. What a silly thing this accusation is!! There's nothing quite like bringing a baby into this world. And for the IP who planned on having a family but are unable to on their own, surrogate mothers restore their hope and optimism about parenthood. Lots of couples are seeking help through surrogacy nowadays. And they want to get this process safe and effective. Being a surrogate mother is an extremely intimate experience. So every side of the process has to know it gets the best. The clinic's responsibility is to ensure IP and the surrogate feel entirely confident and comfortable during the journey. A good reputable clinic always finds this to be essential in creating a positive, joyful experience for all parties. And BioTex Com is definitely the one which cares! At every stage of surrogacy journey (From the fertility process to pregnancy, delivery and post-delivery) they do their best for everyone to have the support and guidance of the experienced medical team, social workers and program coordinators. Plus, many women who work at BioTexCom are experienced surrogates. So they are ready for the process from the beginning up to the end. And the fact that the clinic takes care of its surrogates is just vital and cannot be judged or discussed. We've been through surrogacy ourselves and were sure they take good care of ours, so that our little one inside..That really means a lot!! Thank you x

  7. I appreciate what donors/surrogates do for the IP. Here are our clinic’s requirements for their donors. 18-25 yrs old. Perfect physical and mental health. No genetic diseases in donors and their families. Proven fertility meaning at least one kid of her own. The surrogate should be between the ages of 20-40 years of age. Ideally, she should have carried at least one successful pregnancy to term. With no serious pregnancy/delivery/post partum complications. She should have a BMI of no higher than 30. She will need a blood test to show she is clean of any infections, especially HIV or Hepatitis. A pelvic exam is also a smart idea. She should not have any contraceptive implants. Obviously she should not smoke cigarettes or drink heavily. She should not currently be on antidepressants. The clinic always gets the surrogates the best screened. And to qualify as a surrogate, the candidate also should have the following blood tests performed on Day 2 or day 3 of her cycle. A routine USG of the Uterus and Abdomen is also often recommended to confirm the Uterus is regular shape / no cysts / no scaring and no abnormalities in the other organs in her body. All this process is a huge responsibility for both- surrogates and the clinic. So everyone should do his best to achieve the aim - a healthy baby born.
Also, I've hear about the influence of surrogate mothers epigenetics. First of all, it should be clear that when we talk about “epigenetics”, we refer to information that is not encoded in the DNA sequence of a human being. Epigenetic information is transmitted through cell division; therefore, it is directly inherited from the biological mother. On the other hand, it’s been proven that most epigenetic marks from the father’s chromosomes are removed when sperm is created.
Nonetheless, it is also true that some epigenetic information can be modified. In this sense, there is evidence that the metabolism of the pregnant woman can influence the epigenetics of the unborn child. Diet is one of these factors. Experts also suggest that epigenetic changes may influence certain behavioral patterns of the baby-to-be. To sum up, it is indeed possible to some extent for the surrogate to influence the epigenetic information of the child.
Have nothing against biotexcom is having things under control.

  8. The silliest thing I've heard ever!! How one can accuse the clinic of it's strict responsibility?! Biotex makes sure the surrogates lead proper life style and follow all the dr's recommendations while carrying the little beans. There's nothing weird about it. Before signing the contracts all the surrogates know what they are signing up for. No hidden demands etc. And if it's stated they have to take this and that care of themselves, or that they have to see the dr at stated dates, or take these or those meds, vitamins, supplements - then they have to keep to the plan. So what for to accuse the clinic if it wants this plan to be done, no more? I believe all biotex IP are satisfied with the services provided. IP may travel home while waiting and be sure their tiny beans grow safe. Biotex is doing a huge job in this field. The staff is professional and do their best to make the stay at the clinic as comfortable as possible. We've made some good friends there. People come from all over the world to Biotex for treatments. It's not surprising though, they know the field perfectly well.

  9. I'm sure it's up to competitors. Clinic can't be accused of such sort of things. Following the instructions is obvious, not very important but VITAL. Biotex knows the field. I remember our first visit. Interiors seemed simple and plain. The clinic’s hall was crowded. We were met by our English speaking manager Anastasia. She was very busy, though, since we were not the only couple with her that day. She invited us to a separate room and answered all our questions - we did have a lot!! She explained the peculiarities of each surrogacy package. They had three major packages then. Now it's two 'cause the economy was sold out time ago. Ok, we thanked Anastasia for taking time and explaining everything to us. We liked her, the way she explained things and behaved - energetic, serious and incredibly kind. Of course we knew not many people from clinics staff then, but were absolutely satisfied with the impression the first visit made on us. Now I can tell without hesitation, guys are responsible for every treatment step they provide. They have the accurate scheme they follow.and this brings results. High results. I personally don't care what others say, it's not exploitation to my mind but the natural flow of the successful treatments. good job!!!

  10. The silliest thing I've ever heard about!! Then why not accuse of opting for egg donors' help?!!! Because the goal of egg donation is to obtain multiple eggs in one cycle, your egg donor testing will include several blood tests, a gynecological exam and an ultrasound to evaluate ovarian reserve. Understanding ovaries’ ability to produce eggs is crusial. The timing of these tests is important. as some must be performed on specific days of menstrual cycle to accurately measure specific hormone levels and body’s response to them. On the third day of cycle, fertility specialist orders blood tests to measure blood levels of: FSH, E2), AMH. Fertility specialist will also perform a vaginal ultrasound assessment to count pre-antral/antral ovarian follicles. If fewer than 10 follicles are seen, a woman may not qualify as a donor.
Biotex com clinic always requires its donors to be drug-free and absolutely healthy. So they will have either a blood or urine test to check for evidence of illicit drug use. Within 30 days of scheduled donation, additional blood tests will be ordered to test: Thyroid stimulating hormone (TSH). Prolactin. Complete blood count. Blood type. Rh factor. In accordance with requirements, blood work will also be ordered to check for sexually transmitted diseases. Additional egg donor testing will be performed to rule out genetic disorders. These blood tests are particularly valuable for women who are curious about whether they may carry an inheritable disease or disorder. All donors are genetically tested for the cystic fibrosis mutation. And tests for other diseases – such as sickle cell anemia, thalassemia or Tay-Sachs disease – may also be performed based on ethnicity or family history. A donor must be sure to mention any specific concerns about her family history to a fertility specialist. and be aware that women with a personal history of certain conditions are excluded from egg donor program.
Isn't this a huge burden laid on the shoulders of donors who are willing to help the infertile? So what – again accuse?!! Or simply not intrude to the professionals' hard and responsible work?!!

    ReplyDelete
  11. The donor will undergo a number of evaluations, including ultrasound examinations, in order to monitor development of eggs on the ovary. Also blood tests to check estrogen levels. Clearly, this is an involved and invasive procedure with documented risks and long-term hazards. While sperm donation is relatively risk-free, egg donors must endure the side effects of altered hormone levels and surgery.

    1. Just to add, egg donors also go through a very stringent psychological evaluation. The clinic's main job is to build a profile of the donor from every angle. Including personality, intellectual capabilities, motivation, level of responsibility, and health background. Their questions during the initial interview cover the donor’s education history and grade point average and her family’s professional background. They ask the donor to describe her personality traits: Is she talkative, shy, confident, caring etc. They create short introducing videos along with the donor's profile. Many potential donors do not make the cut in bio tex. Women who smoke, use illicit drugs, or consume excessive amounts of alcohol are immediately rejected! Psychological disorders are also a gray area. They will never accept a donor if she has been diagnosed with schizophrenia or severe manic depression. On the contrary, in other clinics the mild history of anxiety or depression usually does not preclude them from becoming donors!! Just imagine! Other clinics just ask how many generations back it goes and whether they’ve had an episode recently. It all goes into the report, and it’s up to the doctor to make the decision!! So ridiculous!! I'm glad the couples at BioTexCom are sure not to face all of those possible issues with their donors.

  12. I hate hearing such sort of things..this is so silly to accuse sb of well known medical facts and requirements. I've recently read the thread on third part reproduction board, a lady writes about friends of hers who're in surrogacy process at A** clinic. They just found out their surrogate is smoking..IS SMOKING!! when being 13 wks prego with their baby!! How frustrating it is!! Such women must be excluded from even the initial stages of programs immediately!! It's not a secret the surros are mailnly ''hired'' to carry someone's else kid. this is called compensation though. and they do know about the requirements they have to meet..So damn why they think it's OK to smoke when being paid/thought the best of/and being one's hope?!!
The point is clear - the mantioned A** repro center doesn't guide the process stages at all. that's why such weird things could happen to their clients..THIS IS the reason to accuse!! Not those mentioned in the video. (PS: Anastasia looks great as usual.)
Be strict, guys, you do guide well. My thoughts are at peace our surrogate is taken good care of.

    1. I’m glad to share any info too! I was told that our clinic is one of the more expensive ones in the area. because they have very good stats and use the latest tech to assist hatching and freeze embryos. I’m sure there are more scientific terms than what I used. I also know they recommend PGS testing. also as you can see from the total costs attached, it’s included whether you ultimately choose it or not. Or you can view it as having to pay a penalty if you don’t do PGS! But I wanted to attach the total bc your overall might be lower. will add that many of the doctors there were faculty at medical school so they really valued research, problem solving, and teaching.. I’ve never once felt it was all about money or that they didn’t care. I did feel I was in the best hands. Then again, I didn’t have a comparison basis – because we didn't have great outcomes with previous 2 IVF cycles – both ended in mc. However, we’ve been at this for years!! I have adenomyosis, LOW AMH. I’ll take a lot of responsibility for my poor egg quality..No one needs or deserves to have bad experiences with the clinic while going through this process. It’s all out of our hands so let’s pray for the best. Just imagine all our embryos hatching..

  13. Oh Lord, what a silly thing to hear..Do not listen, BioTexCom guys, you're doing just great job!! Surrogacy affects a lot of people. There are complex medical and legal processes to consider. It’s important to prepare yourself and take enough time. Everyone involved, including the commissioning parents, the surrogate, and the surrogate’s partner (if any), must have separate and joint counselling and independent psychological assessment. Being pregnant can be tiring. So it’s important for the surrogate to take the best care of herself and to discuss with health professionals any concerns she might have before and during the pregnancy. Pregnancy can affect the surrogate's emotional wellbeing and relationships. Maintaining healthy relationships can provide support during the pregnancy and after the birth. I find nothing bad about BioTexCom takes this extra care of its surrogates. All in all, they're carring our babies!!!!

    It’s a big decision

  14. Absolutely agree with the above posters! This is a common myth I often hear in the media. However, it is a concern that is also typically expressed early on when prospective parents are considering the surrogate. The fact of the matter is that these kind women contend with a tremendous amount in exchange for their compensation. Their commitment of time (Often inconvenience to their daily lifestyle), the invasive medical screenings and other clinical procedures will, generally speaking, weed out from the pool those young women who are purely financially motivated. Surrogacy is simply not an easy process!! Because surrogates typically meet with a physician, a nurse, a mental health professional, often an attorney and perhaps other family building professionals. The uninformed applicant who may see this as a quick way to earn money or who may be lured by the promise of compensation is likely to reconsider when risks and the commitment required are explained.
One parent once said “The child who came into my life is the most beautiful, spirited child…he is the child I was meant to have and he fills me with love every minute of the day.” -This is not the game of numbers! There's much more behind all this! We have no right to judge people who tend to do their job greatly. So let's be wise!

    ReplyDelete
  15. I don't mind the clinic's being aware of its surrogates' health/habits etc. We all know that probably the biggest list of don’ts for pregnant women involves food. So this list says, during pregnancy, a woman should avoid: Raw meat and shellfish. For example, uncooked seafood, including oysters, mussels, and clams. Also avoid rare or undercooked beef and poultry. These can be contaminated with salmonella. Also Deli meats which can be contaminated with listeria. This is the bacteria that can cross the placenta and infect your developing baby. An infection in utero could lead to blood poisoning. Then this is fish with high levels of mercury. Fish such as shark, king mackerel, swordfish, and tilefish. Smoked seafood: Avoid lox, kippered fish, jerky, or nova style salmon. There’s a risk that this refrigerated, smoked seafood could be contaminated with listeria. Raw eggs: This includes foods that contain raw eggs, so be wary of homemade Caesar dressings, Hollandaise sauces, mayonnaise, and certain custards. Raw eggs can pose a risk of salmonella. Soft cheeses: Some imported soft cheeses can have listeria, so steer clear of soft cheeses like Roquefort, feta, Gorgonzola, Camembert, and Brie. Mexican cheeses such as queso blanco and queso fresco should also be avoided, unless they’re made from pasteurized milk. Unpasteurized dairy: These products could contain listeria. It seems extensive, right? While it’s always important to eat a balanced diet, pregnancy is an especially critical time. In your daily mail plan, try to incorporate lean proteins, healthy fats, lots of fresh, vegetables and fruits, water. Our surrogate told us she and others were being explained all these things at BioTex. Guys are really great.

    1. I am not so much open about our struggles. It took me awhile to get here. And only closest people know what we are going through. It's a personal choice though! I am in general a pretty extroverted person. A lot of people were asking me when we were going to have a baby, which is a question I find extremely offensive. So I just told them that we are having trouble (sometimes in a snarky way. bc I'm a little bit of a B and i want them to know they are being rude). I've posted quite a lot, because I think people who aren't struggling with it need to know how to be sensitive to the fact that a lot of people suffer from infertility. I'm personally glad I am more or less open about it bc I have a TON of support and positive vibes coming my way which I feel can only help. I've also reconnected with some people I may have lost touch with who are going through the same thing and have been a good support to those people which makes me feel good! The only downside is that sometimes people ask me about how things are going when it's not a good time to ask (like right after a negative beta) but I've kinda made it clear to those people that it is a subject that should only be brought up by me. Anyway, we're going down our trip - mitochondria donation +IVF. Praying for this time to be successful for us.

  16. Just adding. Also pregos shouldn't overdo it with coffeine. It’s a stimulant and a diuretic, meaning drinking usual few cups of coffee every day will increase blood pressure, heart rate, and the number of trips to make to the restroom. Plus, caffeine crosses the placenta. While a woman may function just fine caffeinated, the growing baby doesn’t. That’s because the baby’s metabolism is still developing. Then some medications can be harmful to the growing baby. Before taking any over-the- counter or prescription medications and supplements, talking to the dr is vital!! The surrogates are also advised to stick to heels with a 3-inch heel or less. -Think kitten heels, wedges, and platforms. As the belly grows, the center of gravity will change. So the prego may find herself a little unsteady on her feet. The pregos must skip the hot tub. Because it usually maintains a water temperature around 104°F, which is harmful for the future baby. Finally, exposure to secondhand smoke during pregnancy which can lead to: miscarriage, premature delivery, low birth weight, learning or behavioral issues as baby grows etc. I'm glad the surrogates at BioTex are explained all those things well. So that not to face any complications in future. Good job purely – no exploitation.

  17. Coming here again for reading more posts. Thank you, ladies, for getting involved. I've recently read on youtube surrogacy videos comments, a lady wrote there are 7 billion people in the world. And that is quite overpopulated. That's why she thinks infertility is just a natural option to regulate this question..Can you beleve this?!! I went mad, cause this sweet lovely has no idea of what infertility means to people. how it affects relationships. how it breaks families. how it crushes dreams. how it ruins people's lives because they CAN NOT HAVE KIDS..!!! How dare one say there are too many of us, so why to treat for infertility?!! OMG, seems this world is going crazy..I'm all for infertilty reatments. No matter which kind of them - everyone deserves to enjoy parenthood!! BTW, this sweet lovely who've commented on 7 billion, what would she say on the fact some women leave their kids in orphan houses? others throw their kids in waste bins? Yet others sell them?? - Is it fair for those shallow people to give birth to healthy kids?? And those who're dreaming about little ones are left childless?!! I didn't meant my post here to be this emotional. But this is so disgusting people dare to judge when they have no idea of fertility matters themselves!! I'm sorry for my rumble, but I couldn't keep silent on that.
Again, no exploitation concerning surrogacy. Ladies come into the programs mature. This is their decision. No one can push them towards - they know what they do. And if there are some obvious rules they'll have to stick to - it's still their choice! Biotex is great as usual as for the things keeping under control.

As for the accusations - those are weird & silly & badly thought of..You don't deserve. I beliebe every reputable reproductive clinic must take good care of its patients, surrogates, donors - everyone engaged in this complicated process! so take it easy would be my advice.

  19. Surrogacy gives opportunities to everyone. My personal opinion is that surrogacy is an incredible process. It has the ultimate power to create a family. It’s a safe, successful, and enriching experience for both IP and the surrogate. For various reasons, couples or individuals may not be able to have children on their own. This is a difficult problem to face. Whatever obstacle IP may face on the journey, with the help of a surrogate and/or an egg donor/ donor's mitochondria (the new method Biotexcom clinic has recently introduced to its patients), anyone can have a child! Surrogacy allows many IP to share a genetic tie with the baby. And it can lead to a lifelong relationship between all the parties involved. Moreover surrogacy is thought to be a better option than other fertility treatments. Depending on the various programs, surrogacy costs do vary extremelly. Just like the surrogacy law conditions. I believe, surrogates choose to carry other people’s children because they value life and the power of family. Surrogacy can be complicated, it's understandable. Gestational surrogacy involves complex medical procedures and surrogacy laws!! Legal processes can be overwhelming at times. So it is important to work closely with a trusted professional to ensure the process is completed safely and legally. Biotexcom offers all legal help to their patients and guides them through all the treatment steps. Secondly, surrogacy costs can be significant. Because of the number of people and services required to complete a successful surrogacy, it's usually overwhelmingly expensive. (If we tak for example, the USA it can go as far as $150k!! And at Biotexcom they offer the packages for everyone's pocket, depending on the number of shots). Surrogacy requires you to let go of some control. You will need to relinquish some control and trust your surrogate to carry the pregnancy for you. Surrogacy also takes its toll on body. That's why surrogates undergo numerous screenings; attend interviews and appointments; carry a baby for 9 months. During this time, gestational carriers are asked not to be engaged in any risky or strenuous physical activity. Biotexcom clinic is proved to take good care of its surrogates. I personally don't believe these silly accusations.

  20. It's a tough decision to make and definitely one you should feel comfortable with. I'm a very private person by nature and feel that the less people know, the better off I am. At first, I didn't tell anyone and laughed off the baby questions. When things got tougher and we were referred to an RE, I felt like it was my fault as well. I held it in for a while and then decided to tell a friend who also struggled. It felt good to open up and educate her on what I went through. She got pregnant naturally after a m/c. But she still understood the pain behind constant unsuccessful trying. When I told my best friend, it seemed like she understood, but she didn't really understand. She got pregnant with both of her kids without any issues. When I talked about my issues, she asks questions but doesn't probe further. My mom knows as well, but my in-laws don't. I feel like they stopped asking and just realized something must be wrong since we aren't having kids yet. They don't ask though and I'm happy for that. I feel like I will eventually share with them. But only when this works and once I get pregnant. DH wanted to be open with them from the beginning. But I asked him to keep this between us, my 2 close gf's and my mom for now until the time is right. At the end of it all, no one can't tell you to share or not to share, but I hope our experiences help others with their decision.

  21. At the beginning of our journey I was 40+ and already had my teenage daughter. Also my new dh who wanted to have his own kids. And also my POF, cysts on ovaries and aged eggs.. We were trying to conceive  for more than 2.2 years before it became absolutely clear we couldn't do it without medical help. So we started thinking about ivf as the way out. After the first steps with the clinic and our RE we had to consider using de. My eggs turned out to be of no use. My dh was super supportive at that time I even didn't expect. Finally, we passed the egg donation program. The package implied five attempts with refund in case of failure. I just wanted to say we had no choice. Just whatever you chose think of a tiny miracle you're doing this for. We truly love them no matter what way they see this world. Biotex then didn't perform 'tandems'. But the idea is quite interesting as long as there aren't health restrictions. With such dx it was impossible to count on my oe. That's why we moved straight to de. But if there was the opportunity I think we would try.

  22. Catholics are more likely to say that surrogacy promotes the exploitation of women and infertile couples and the dehumanization of babies. In short, it traffics for profit in human lives. I truly cannot agree with it, that is the inner part of me thinks differently!
Fortunately, hiring surrogates and purchasing sperm, eggs, or others' leftover frozen embryos, have become accepted as choices on a menu of options. This is so called right of those who can afford it. This is all about the creation of a third, autonomous human being!! My husband and I tried naturally over a year with no luck. Then met with my OB-GYN pap results were good and made the decision to see a doctor at a fertility clinic. Ultrasound and blood work was not bad and did the HSG too . On the basis of these results and due to the doctor's findings the best route was to do IVF. My husband and I called a couple of IVF centers in our area that our doctor gave us. but each IVF consultation was over $300!! and pricing started at $10k!! We honestly did not have any close family or friends that have gone through IVF and thought going on different fertility boards would be a great place to start to get some options from other people going through the same thing. We were also willing to do this outside CA since we figured it might be affordable. We passed 2 shots IVF, both times faced mc, our new dr told us tiny was the chance for me to conceive and carry the baby on my own..Soon found ourselves in Ukraine, Biotexcom clinic, signing up for a surrogacy package...

  23. I used to read about it some time ago. And personally I don't understand the nature of these accusations. If we talk about adoption, one should understand that adoption doesn't seem the smoother and faster and cheaper process at all. Furthermore, you may put in years and get no kid in the end which is very frustrating. The thing completely differs with surrogacy. Moreover if you choose the destination like Ukraine, you'll be able to get vip package for the same sum of money the 1 shot surrogacy package in the US. for example, will cost!. A lot of women participate in surrogacy there. That is why one won't have to wait for too long for the program to start. I'd recommend everyone looking onto asiu.us blog which is absolutely awesome for details. One thing is for sure – every part of the process knows its role. And whether to play this role or not depends on them only.

  24. Oh my, must be hard anyways. I haven't researched a lot about surrogacy in itself. I only know about certain things and that is through the internet and from my friend's experience with it. She tells me that for surrogacy the clinic matters a lot. Mainly because it's not legal everywhere. Also, because not everyone can carry it out well. Secondly, she told me that surrogate mothers are amazing human beings and need to be respected. So I believe these are the few things that need to be given importance to. That's why it's important you spread awareness about this sensitive topic. My friend has been through surrogacy with Biotexcom and regrets about nothing.
